Gas logs
Gas logs you can watch burn before you buy
We keep more than twenty different sets plumbed and lit on the showroom floor. Flames are hard to judge from a photograph, so we let you judge them in person.

What we carry
Gas log sets we carry
Bring us the make of the set you have now, or just the measurements, and we will match it or better it.
Vented gas logs
Vent-free gas logs

Vented or vent-free, and why it matters
A vented set burns with a taller, more natural flame and sends its exhaust up the chimney, so the damper stays open and most of the heat goes with it. You buy a vented set for the look.
A vent-free set burns cleaner and keeps its heat in the room, which makes it the better choice when you want the fireplace to actually warm the space. It needs a room of the right size and a working safety pilot.
- Vented sets from Peterson Real Fyre and Golden Blount
- Vent-free sets from Everwarm, Empire, Peterson Real Fyre and Golden Blount
- Match-lit, safety pilot and remote-ready burners

Bring three things and we can get it right
Measure the width at the front of your fireplace opening, the width at the back, the depth, and the height. Take a photo on your phone while you are down there.
Then tell us whether there is a gas line to the fireplace already. If there is not, that is a normal thing to sort out and we will tell you what is involved.
- Front width, back width, depth and height
- A photo of the opening and the surround
- Whether gas is already run to the fireplace
